SURVEY EXPERIENCE I have been the active member of the following survey teams, which were conducted by Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Islamabad: i) Food Security Management Project for International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in 1985 in district Lahore and Faisalabad.
ii) “Tarbela Water Sedimentation Study” Sponsored by Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) from June 15, 1996 to July 5, 1996. The survey was conducted in the District Dera Ismail Khan, where we examine the different agricultural output in the Irrigated and Barani Areas.
iii) “Education and Household Welfare” worked for Mr. Yasuyuki Swada Ph.D. student Stanford University, USA. The survey was conducted in the Districts Faisalabad and Attock from March 2-28, 1997.
iv) “Wheat Technology in Pakistan” worked for Mrs. Marie Jose W. Smits Ph.D. student Centre for World Food Studies, The Netherlands. The survey was conducted in the Districts Faisalabad and Attock from March 2-28, 1997.
v) “Fertilizer Use Survey 1997-98” sponsored by National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC) from September 1, 1998 to November 4, 1998 in the various districts of NWFP, Punjab and Sindh.
vi) Worked as a Supervisor in “Iodine Deficiency Disorder” sponsored by UNICEF in Azad Kashmir and NWFP from December 2000 to January 2001.
vii) Worked in “Micro Impact of Macro Adjustment Policies (MIMAP)” households listing in the areas of Sargodha and Abbottabad divisions from June 2001 to July 2001. This study was sponsored by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
viii) Worked in the study “How Poverty Perpetuates among Poor” in the Lahore district sponsored by UNDP in July-September 2001.
ix) Worked in the study “Poverty Assessment Survey” sponsored by World Bank in districts Attock and Faisalabad from August 2001 to January 2002.
x) Supervised and Surveyed for NRSP( National Rural Support Programe) from April 2004 to july 2004 in district Chakwal. Study was supervised By Dr Faiz Bilqees PIDE and sponsored by world bank.
xi) “Field worker interventions in National Rural Support Programe(NRSP)” Supervised the Survey team in distict Attock in February-March 2005. Study was Supervised by Dr Faiz Bilquees,PIDE, and sponsored by the World Bank
xii) “Crop Maximization Project” in 2006. |
